NEWS!!! NEWS!!! Joe Sernio has been awarded The Robert Pastorelli Rising Star Award!!. Winners of the Pastorelli award are painstakingly chosen for talent in acting, determination and quality of character. It is an extreme honor to serve The Garden State Film Festival and the legacy of Robert Pastorelli this year and many years to come with this award. Mr. Pastore has formed a new theater company, The Buffalo Group Theater Company with Thomas G. Waites, as the Artistic Director. The theater company will work on developing new screenplays in addition to reviving iconic works by playwrights such as Louis La Russo, William Inge, Tennessee Williams. Membership to this acting company is by invite only. Please look for future news releases on upcoming projects, both at the Triad Theater and the Archlight Theater on the upper west side will be the groups home base.

Transition” (Joe Plays Tom Gallaway) is an official invite for the First Glance Philadelphia Film Festival Online Shorts Contest!. TRANSITION is a coming of age film based on a true story. High school junior Chris Jamison had it all. He was captain of the lacrosse team, had a great girlfriend, and interest from many colleges for a potential athletic scholarship. In one diagnosis, it all changed. Cancer took everything but his life. Now a senior, Chris looks to gain back his starting spot on the lacrosse team, although his body still feels the effects of the chemotherapy.
