Love Monkey is an hour-long drama about a young, attractive record executive named Tom Farrell. Everything in his life seems to be coming together, except his love life. Told through Tom’s narration, we learn about the difficulty and madness of dating in New York City. Tom has a group of close-knit friends who help one another get by and have fun.
Love Monkey first aired on CBS. I believe they aried a complete 8 episodes on the network. After just a few episodes aired the show was cancled off CBS and the rights were purchased by VH1. VH1 decided to air the complete first season, or all 8 episodes, and eventuelly bring the show back for a second season. After the shows first 8 episodes aired it never came back to VH1.
Joe started out on the show as Non-Union background. Quickly moving up as featured, Stand-In, then given a chance to play Phil A TRL stage manager who helped Tom’s (Tom Cavanugh) tealent on the show. Which later led to more.
