Lightning Films Pilot

To the average person, Chris Donner (Joe Sernio) appears to be a stable, successful, independent family man. The Donner family has never had to worry about the hardships of life. Along with his wife Vanessa (Lauren Potter) and baby girl, Emily, they are well off living in a quaint suburban neighborhood in central New Jersey.

During the two years of their marriage, Alex has been under the impression that Chris is a regional bank manager, traveling the north east overseeing three dozen branches. Kept in the dark and blind to the truth, what Alex’s beliefs are as to what Chris does when he’s away on “business trips” couldn’t by any farther from the truth. In fact, only a select few actually know what Chris does…a select few that don’t live to tell about it.
