As most of you all know most of my time is spent in NY as well as NJ in places such as Asbury Park. A town that has not only given me their support but also their city, boardwalk and buildings to showcase my work and craft as well as to bring others in to showcase their work and talents. A place that i love to call home. When i am not out and about i reside in Belmar NJ. 11th Ave. one block in from the beach… What i have witnessed in the last 2 weeks is something i would have never thought my eyes would see. The places i would walk, go to the beach, spend my summer months the places where I grew up or where my Uncle or aunts or grandparents use to take me on a weekday afternoon as a child … Gone.. APBoardwalk announces the opening of “Brightness”, a party-play, on Thursday, August 9, 2012 with a limited engagement running through August 26. Paratroupe, the producer of “Brightness”, is a theater company that’s the brainchild of a group of creative, young New York-based actors and writers aiming to make immersive theatre and to create experiences that could never be simulated on a screen.
